Students interested in solving problems and discovering how devices work can consider a career in computer technology. Computer engineers design and build computers and digital systems of all sizes:
Large systems - which predict the weather, recreate physical systems and environments (virtual reality), serve banks and book airline tickets; Tiny computers - that are inside cars, household appliances, CD players and cell phones Personal computers are used in offices and homes everywhere.
Computer engineers also develop and implement programs that control these computers.
A computer engineering program strikes a balance between theory and practice, and prepares graduates for a career start and / or further research. Engineering design emphasizes the focus of the entire curriculum. The main design projects over the past year take into account: creativity, taking into account economic and social factors and the application of systematic design processes.
